That’s right. Information about the new Heart Of Greed has been released! Ok, HOG fans, don’t scream so loudly now! x)

+ The series is set to start filming on January 2008 and planned to be released in the Mid Autumn festival.
+ The storyline will be totally new but it would still be called Tong Sum Fung Bo II. The storyline is still about family conflicts but instead of the abalone store that the family owns, they will own a Moon Cake store. (hmm..I wonder if they’ll going to have moon cake celebrations for the success of their series instead of the abalone celebrations?)
+ Yoyo Mung is no longer in this series, she will be replaced by Kate Tsui (eekk! I don’t like Kate!)
+ Kate Tsui and Tavia Yeung would be in a love triangle with Moses Chan while Bosco Wong and Raymond Lam compete for Linda Chung. (The two triangles seems refreshing)
+ Moses and Raymond are brothers with Lee See Kei and Ha Yu as their parents. (YAY, Lee See Kei and Ha Yu are together, they have good chemistry)
+ Linda is Lee See Kei’s adopted daughter (this is good, Linda didn’t have much/hardly any scenes with Lee See Kei in Heart Of Greed I and I found that a loss to Linda because working with a experienced veteran is always good)
+ Susanna Kwan is acting as Lee See Kei’s sister
+ Michelle Yim is Ha Yu’s second wife and is the villian in the series. For Ha Yu to marry Michelle he decides to divorce Lee See Kei and Michelle plots a plan for Lee See Kei to lose custody of her children.
I’m suprised TVB kept almost all of the characters. The plot is almost the same, with the second wife as the villian, love triangles, family business etc I’m glad Moses and Linda aren’t in a triangle together because that would get a bit boring/repitive even though they had good chemistry together in HOG1. I like the idea of Michelle as the villian, she did an awesome job on the Brink Of Law and with the custody of children and Lee See Kei suffering after she loses her marriage and children sounds appealing. Overall, I’m def looking forward to this series. It doesn’t look like those sequel series that tends to fail, with such a strong cast and a refreshing storyline this is going to be a big hit again! :)
YaYa thereis heart of greed II, cant wait to see it and bosco and raymond will like linda and tavia will like moses and there is katie inside there and she will like moses too haha i dont want michelle to be evil AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

This has no connection what so ever to the first HOG so Raymond and Lee Sei Kee being alive is ok I’m assuming.

i guess most people don’t like kate like me. I hope she’s replaced by someone else or yoyo comes back or something, i prefer yoyo over kate anyday.
LOL! So much for getting ‘all’ of the ‘old’ cast back. I’d prefer yoyo back as well! Though I don’t mind Kate. But I want yoyo back into the series! ><’

I don’t why you wouldn’t like Kate Tsui. She is awesome and is improving! Back to the subject. I think it’s a good idea having more than one love triangle. (You rarely see that happen!) I like the new actors and actresses. The old ones were good too though. I can’t wait to see the cast b/c all of them are faves!

i like kate, don’t see whats so bad about her, shes pretty and her acting is improving a lot!! can’t wait to see this series!
I hope to see Bosco & Linda together though, both are good-looking people, it would be a quite unexpectable & fresh :)
I’m not a big fan of Yoyo, but I would still prefer Yoyo over Kate. The way Kate acts just isn’t that appealing; plus, she’s definitely not an eye candy compare to all other actresses in TVB. Charmaine Sheh would be a better fit for Moses.
