Well I‘ve been putting this off for a while so I’ll do now after I’ve had my So Nyuh Shi Ki (I think that’s the fan name for them) I decided to get around to doing some reviews when I should be studying about DRUGS for my PDH test tomorrow but meh. It’s only PDH right?

My Everything was 天上智喜 The Grace’s 3rd single under the SM Entertainment, released on November 6, 2006. Unlike previous singles, which consisted of R&B/dance tracks, the lead song from the single was a ballad and accompanied by a softer image. To signal the change, the group’s name was changed to “TSZX the Grace”, which each member adding the suffix to their own stage names as well. In addition to the lead ballad “열정 (My Everything)”, the single included a cover of George Michael’s hit single Faith. (Wikipedia)

My Thoughts:
My Everything is no doubt to me the best track on the single, their amazing voices and skilled harmonizing made the ballad as if it wasn’t but sweeter. Considering the fact that this was their first song I had listen to despite it was my original intention I immediately fell in love with this song and still love it much more today. Their vocals at the same time was soft and soothing but then was just this strength and control in their vocals which no doubt has impressed me. The melody is one word (it’s all I can manage atm) sweet. Not to mention the MV was more than words can describe because beautiful would not do it justice (or maybe I’m overly exaggerating).

The MV had a fairytale theme to me I guess seeing as it looked like it took place in a castle? Or a mansion of such, with the music box playing at the beginning a handsome figure walking around slowly remembering the sweet moments ‘he’ assumingly, had with another girl. Then as the song starts we see CSJH looking all angelic in their dresses. I shan’t go on with much detail but watch it for yourself but yeah I just love it. Ki Bum and YoonA look handsome/pretty and they look cute together as well!

CSJH The Grace - My Everything MV

The Final Sentence was to me really slow. The beat and style seemed pretty laid back and just once again really slow. Besides the fact of complimenting their vocals I can’t say too much just I don’t like it. Iris to me was yet again not a stand out track, compared to My Everything it wasn’t that great but I guess it is a song that takes time to grow on considering I’ve listened to My Everything hundreds + times already. It’s a decent ballad with a decent melody but that’s about it. Unless you want me to continue complimenting their voices.

Yeah not too much of a George Michael fan but this cover is just leaving me speechless. It’s an a cappella version of GM’s Faith and I’m not only surprised by their harmonising and ability to sing a cappella but their english is pretty decent. Guess SM really does work them like ever before debut to appeal to all markets.

Overall:
4.5/5 that .5 was because I didn’t like some of the tracks but they should not be deducted because I found their vocals amzing and so was harmonising. If it was to be based soley on that I would’ve given full marks
