On 02.06.08 Wonder Girls released their much anticipated comeback single album. There will be a total of 4 tracks in the single album with 3 new songs plus 1 which includes their 2007 hit song “Tell Me” but this time including Yoo Bin’s rap in it! If you remember, they couldn’t include the “Tell Me” with Yoo Bin’s rap in time for their album because she joined too late, making it somewhat of a pity.

My Thoughts
I’ve done a joint review on So Hot and their MV so click here. Another thing to add to this song - I think it’s better than Tell Me (not as annoying?) and extremely catchy, the more you listen, the more it gets stuck in your head.
This Time is a soft ballad that equals out this mini album consisting of dance type of genre tracks. The beat starts of slow, soft and calm and during the chorus, their vocals sound stronger and makes the song sound more interesting. The instruments are basic (as in other ballads) and i have a love hate relationship with this song. The ballad is beautiful but too much of it makes me fall asleep.
You’re out is a house type of music. The beats and rythmn is catchy and would make you tap your feet with it. This song doesn’t do justice to their average vocals and the ends of each verse/sentence can sound a bit annoying because they all sound the same. Yoo bin’s rap in this song is probably my favourite from all their songs. It doesn’t sound as deep and blends with the rest of the girls voices perfectly but there’s still something that can allow us to distinguish between Yoo bin and the rest of the girls vocals. Although I like Yoo bin’s rap in here, the song is only average but the lyrics make up for it. It applies to reality and the ‘You’re out’ symbolises girls kicking guys out because of their attitude.
I prefer Tell Me with Yoo bin’s rap and I know this makes me a hypocrite I’m sure most people reading this review would have at least heard of this song, heard the song and seen the MV or heard the song, seen the MV and know the dance. If you haven’t, where have you been hiding? This song shot the girls to popularity and the dance is/was seen everywhere. The song is catchy the first couple of listens but after awhile, it doesn’t become as influencing and ‘fun’ anymore. Beats are interesting but this song still doesn’t show what the girls are capable of in terms of vocals. That’s IF they are capable.
Overall
4/5. So Hot and This Time boosted this mini album points. These two songs both have different feelings and lyrics and can really balance out this CD.

What average vocals? As a matter of fact! What vocals? Yoo Bin’s deep voice is getting to me, whilst SoHee is just to soft for my liking. Yes this is MUCH better than Tell Me but still doesn’t prove them much. *Sorry WG FANS* BWAHAH! Selinaa so typical of you.. ><’
