Seeing as I didn’t have time to write about series that would be airing in 2008 at the beginning of the year (much to my dissapointment) I decided to write about which series I’m pschyed about or don’t really care about for the latter part of 2008.

NB. This post expresses my individual opinions and do not intend to offense anyone in anyway. Feel free to express your opinions and dare to disagree with me because I will not bite :)

These are the series I’m looking forward to:

Moonlight Reasonance
If you haven’t heard, this is actually the name of Heart Of Greed II but due to the original drama not relating to it’s ’sequel’ at all it has therefore changed it’s name. This name sounds great and can fit in with the Moon Festival and Moon cake theme pretty well. And if you don’t know, I’m a big fan of Heart Of Greed (who isn’t?) so technically another drama featuring most of the same cast and revolving around a similar plot, I’m in!

Love Exchange
I’m watched the sales presentation for it and feel in love with it. The plot looks tense and gripping and the two lead characters are great - Anita Yuen with Micheal Miu. I’m pretty sure this series will have satisfactory ratings because although the leads are great, I’m not to sure about parents allowing their children to watch ‘love stories’ that both partners are evil, selfish and want to kill their other half.

The Gem Of Life
I’m estatic for this. Not only does it have a great storyline (so far) and a great cast to boost, it was filmed in Thailand, Paris, London, South Africa, Shanghai etc and I’m a sucker for travelling so if a drama can take me to those places, I’m thrilled ;) It’s a huge 80 episodes but I’m positive this won’t be a dissapointment.

A Pillow Case Of Mystery II
I loved the first one so once I heard there was a sequel to it, my life was complete (not literally haha) but really, I love dramas that solve crimes and cases and since I’m liking Bobby’s acting more and more as I watch Forensic Heroes II (not that I already didn’t love his talents) he’s versality and charm blows me off my chair.

Last One Standing
I love to see a good mystery, a good dark/evil vs good. I’m been looking forward to this one ever since I saw the preview and cast. It looks exciting, tense, gripping and engaging. I’m sure this series would not be one to disappoint.

Legend Of The Demigods
I’ve been looking forward to do ever since it finished filming, which mind you was like 2 years ago and now TVB has finally decided to broadcast it but…its on the fourth lines series time? What is this? That’s only half an hour, which means the series would be for 44 episodes instead of the original 22 episodes. Nevertheless, at least it’s going to come out and I really wanted to see how Linda has improved from a series filmed a couple of years ago till Moonlight Reasonance which would be released around the same time.

Burning Flame III
I’ve never been a fan of the Burning Flame sequels but I decided to watch this one because of the captivating cast. I will hopefully try out the first couple of episodes and because I’m not exactly into themes of ‘fire’ and ‘fire fighters’ I will see how it goes and then decide.
