My less-than-stellar colouring of the manga but I love this scene so much

As you may or may not know, School Rumble is my favourite anime/ manga franchise of ALL TIME. Just wanted to write about how School Rumble is officially ending with the next chapter (284 I think) of the manga being the last. I actually haven’t kept up reading the scans (stopped at like 170ish) and decided to collect the Del Rey versions instead but I do read minor spoilers from the chapters and honestly, I’m kind of glad that it’s ending becasue from the direction the manga was going to I would have been more upset if they decided to drag on the series any further and giving us more “reset endings”.
Just one thing I want from the ending – closure for the flag/ jersey faction, if nothing happens between them my hopes will be crushed
Other than that, just a funny ending with lots of happy, pairings, kissing, romance and rumble is fine too.
In other news the first episode of the School Rumble sangakki OVA just came out. YAY, I will settle for the raws right now and watch it because I have been deprived of School Rumble goodness in you-don’t-know-how-long. Let’s hope that they decide to make a third season seeing as how the manga will be finished very soon.
