SHINee Amigo MV

After winning over the hearts to Noona’s with their song Noona is very pretty then going onto songs like You’re like oxygen. SHINee have finally shown some versatility – SHINee presents AMIGO with a very different feel from their first album overall. Something new from the boys and refreshing most definitely suits SHINee and Amigo.

My thoughts:
So basically I wrote this review like 3 weeks back and then with school and all that, I sorta forgot about it. One word for this MV and that’s HOT . Without a doubt that SHINee aren’t like your typical boybands i.e like DBSK or SJ – In terms of style and especially their music. Whilst DBSK has Hug and Super Junior had Happiness SHINee has Amigo and it’s definitely something new and different from SM.

Those who follow SHINee can immediately tell that there’s definitely a new concept they’re trying here, this seems like something that DBSK would do IMO. It’s definitely nothing like Replay or Love like Oxygen or Love’s Way or Romantic (title of tracks from their first album). The song has some darn pretty catchy beats and the song really grows on you.

Amigo – isn’t it something that you use to address males? Senorita be females yeah? Koreans and their failed english again. The win parts in the song was Key and Jonghyuns, ‘Hajiman Sexy’ and like stated, the song’s pretty catchy and personally, I think a big improvement from You’re like oxygen.

The music video was really good, I guess the plot was a little confusing and I was semi-pleased with Minho being the lead. Still I enjoyed fan girling over the boys when they did their dance. Their clothing was acceptable it was casual yet still fashionable and as for the boys new look, individually – from Taemins mushroom cut to Jonghyun’s dorky like hair style – it’s ok.

Overall:
Song: 4 out of 5 – awesome beats
MV: 4 out of 5 – I didn’t like the individual scene with the flashy background. T_T
