Seeing as I didn’t have time to write about series that would be airing in 2008 at the beginning of the year (much to my dissapointment) I decided to write about which series I’m pschyed about or don’t really care about for the latter part of 2008.
NB. This post expresses my individual opinions and do not intend to offense anyone in anyway. Feel free to express your opinions and dare to disagree with me because I will not bite :)
Super Junior Happy is another subgroup for SM. Now let’s see…how many subgroups have been created by the invicible 13 member boyband? Only Super Junior K.R.Y, Super Junior T, Super Junior M and now Super Junior H. SM really makes me laugh…what type of name is Super Junior Happy anyways..that’s like naming your child grapes or something. Excuse that random phrase, now let’s get on with the review.
Super Junior-Happy’s music style involves the common style of contemporary dance music and bubblegum pop, mainly targeting the music industry with their fun and entertaining style. Super Junior-H’s debut single, “Cooking? Cooking!” is a dance track with refreshing rhythm and quirky lyrics. Their goal is to give fans feelings of bliss and happiness with their music. Wonder Girls: So Hot
On 02.06.08 Wonder Girls released their much anticipated comeback single album. There will be a total of 4 tracks in the single album with 3 new songs plus 1 which includes their 2007 hit song “Tell Me” but this time including Yoo Bin’s rap in it! If you remember, they couldn’t include the “Tell Me” with Yoo Bin’s rap in time for their album because she joined too late, making it somewhat of a pity.
Wonder Girls - So Hot MV
I stumbled across Wonder Girls preview track for their newest album realeasing on the 2nd of June. I just HAD to do a review on this…the lyrics to this song is so conceited and I haven’t done a review in quite a while and doing a MV review is easier than drama review.
A Journey Called Life
A Journey Called Life was one of Linda Chung’s ‘bad girl’ role for this year. Her other one is in Jewel’s Splendour but that one she is rich spoilt brat that has a bit of high class in her badness while this role is just vulgar. As usual, I was skeptical at first about this series - sure I wanted to see how ‘bad’ Linda could portray and what exactly the Mongkok girls in Hong Kong acted like but the lack of promotion and hype about this series was practically zero. However, I gave it a go thinking that too much promotion over a series can often lead to high hopes but a massive dissapointment in the end.
